Student representation is a long-standing tradition at Queen’s University. The Residence Society (ResSoc) is a student-run government operating within Queen’s Residences. We are responsible for maintaining a positive living environment for all of our residences through a variety of programs, while also providing exciting services, events, and employment opportunities. As a student living in residence at Queen’s, you automatically become a member of ResSoc. Members of ResSoc benefit from all of the services and opportunities we have to offer, as well as representation of your interests to other university bodies.

We are comprised of over 50 live-in student staff. House Presidents (HPs), Residence Facilitators (RFs), and executive members make up the staff of ResSoc.
